The 6007G-010 is one of the sportier modern Calatrava configurations. The polished white-gold case is paired with an ebony-black dial, while the red seconds hand and red accents on the minute track are carried through to the stitching and lining of the matching black calfskin strap. It gives the otherwise traditional Calatrava a noticeably more contemporary character.
The dial is where this reference really stands out up close. The center carries an embossed carbon-style pattern, surrounded by three different finishes: a snailed inner minute scale, a circular satin-finished hour circle, and a sunburst outer minute scale. The applied white-gold numerals and hands are filled with white luminescent coating, keeping the dial highly legible without compromising its graphic design.
Inside is Patek Philippe’s automatic Calibre 26-330 S C, with sweep seconds, a date display at 3 o’clock, and a stop-seconds function. It is a fitting movement for this version of the Calatrava, combining the traditional proportions of the collection with a more modern overall design.
