Watch Sourcing Under Tension

At Timepiece Under Tension, we don’t just find watches-we forge them into your collection. Leveraging our exclusive networks and relentless attention to detail, we source everything from limited-edition Patek Philippe to hard-to-find vintage Rolex models. You’ll experience Midwest hospitality, clear communication, and an authenticity guarantee that stands behind every timepiece.

Our Proven 5-Step Sourcing Process

  • Submit Your Request: Share your dream watch details-brand, model, budget, condition-and any special preferences.

  • Receive a Tailored Quote: Within 24 hours, we’ll send you a competitive, no-obligation quote tied to current market values.

  • Secure Your Watch with Confidence: Once the specific details of your timepiece and price are agreed upon, we’ll secure a refundable deposit so we can begin our hunt. This deposit will be applied to the total price of the watch and will be refunded in its entirety if we cannot locate your timepiece within 30 days.

  • Sourcing & Authentication: We activate our dealer and wholesaler network, secure the watch, and perform a full workshop inspection. Every component and function is verified under our authenticity guarantee. Most watches can be secured in under a week, but rare or highly sought-after pieces may take a bit longer.

  • Secure Delivery & Follow-Up: Your watch ships fully insured via FedEx or can be hand-delivered in the Chicago area. We stay in touch to ensure your complete satisfaction.

What to Expect When Working with Us

You’ll enjoy direct access to your dedicated sourcing specialist through video calls, email, or text. Transparency is non-negotiable-no hidden fees, no third-party data sharing, and full updates at each stage. Our wire, Zelle, and Stripe payment options offer flexibility and security, and watches over $5,000 ship free and insured. If we can’t locate your exact model within 30 days, your deposit returns in full-no questions asked.
